SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26 is one of the biggest scholarship programs in India, launched by the SBI Foundation to help bright students from low-income families continue their education without financial stress. The goal is to make sure money doesn’t come in the way of good education.
The scholarship is available for students at different education levels, including School students, Undergraduate student, postgraduate student, IIT student, IIM student, Student studying abroad.

Scholarship amounts range from ₹15,000 to ₹20 lakh, depending on the course and level of study. The scholarship can be renewed each year as long as the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria.
Students must have scored at least 75% marks or a 7 CGPA in the previous academic year.
Family income should not exceed:
₹3 lakh per year for school students
₹6 lakh per year for all other categories
For SC/ST students, there’s a 10% relaxation in marks (i.e., 67.5% or 6.3 CGPA).
To promote fairness and equal opportunity, 50% of the scholarships are reserved for girls, and 50% for SC/ST students.
The SBI Foundation, the CSR arm of State Bank of India, started in 2015, is behind this initiative. It has already helped more than 2 crore people across India in areas like education, health, rural development, women’s empowerment, skill-building, support for people with disabilities, sports, environment, and innovation.
